About Smuggler

Smuggler Wear was born in Fort Dix Federal Prison on November 2006. It was a casual Friday afternoon visit between George and friend Francois Garcia whom has been collaborating with Boston George on several projects

That morning the main discussions between George & Francois were the need that George had to express himself. The inability to respond to all his fans due to prison restrictions, and the fact some people were using George’s name and likeness to sell and promote clothing claiming that they were Boston George originals.

 Very quickly between coffees Smuggler Wear was born.

The goal was to create a quality urban line that would reflect George’s life in his own words and designs thus allowing him to express him to the outside world while establishing the authentic Boston George line of originals. 

This task did not come easy due to the too many restrictions he was imposed, those who know him and the meaning of his word, will quickly understand that it would take more than steel bars to stop him.
